MANAS EYE HOSPITAL is a 12 bedded Ophthalmology centre headed by Dr. D.V. Ravi P. Rao M.S., FIAS, Fellow, Aravind eye Hospital, Madurai, with an experience of over 2 decades with utmost 99% success rate with latest and best medical equipment coping to all ophthalmic needs in a 4000 Square feet constructed area, consisting of 3 OPDs, Specialized Ophthalmic Theatre, ample of waiting area with all provisions, specialized ophthalmic equipment, consisting of Phaco machine, Auto refractor, Yag lazer, Ophthalmic microscope, pachmeter and other latest equipment.

With the pioneering experience in the field of Ophthalmology, Manas Eye hospital is serving a wide range of patients from very poor to the rich class with a vision of helping the needy with about 100 outpatients per day and an average of 150 Major to Minor Surgeries per month.

Phacoemulsification

Phacoemulsification cataract surgery is a procedure in which we use the ultrasonic device is used to break up and then remove a cloudy lens, or cataract, from the eye to improve vision.

Contact Lens Clinic

Advancements in contact lens technology offer the potential for successful contact lens wear to most of our patients. We fit all types of contact lenses in our state of the art contact lens clinic.

Lasik Surgery

Lasik Surgery is a procedure to correct refractive errors (focusing errors) like Myopia, Hyperopia, Astigmatism, and Presbyopia. Our LASIK surgery is done using one of the most technologically advanced and state of the art excimer laser systems.

General Eye Testing

General eye testing can diagnose a variety of eye conditions early on and are the best way to preserve good vision. Computerized eye testing at our hospitals by certified professionals at best price with all the latest equipment and technology.

Fundus Camera

Fundus photography documents the retina, the neurosensory tissue in our eyes which translates the optical images. Our ophthalmologists use these retinal photographs to follow, diagnose, and treat eye diseases.

Yag Laser

The Yag laser is used to create a small hole in the centre of the remaining capsule. Our hospital is equipped with the most advanced technologies required to diagnose and treat retinal diseases. A focusing contact lens will be placed on the eye, the treatment takes about ten minutes and is not painful.
